Shunts

Stratamr Adjustable Pressure Valve

Manage hydrocephalus with a shunt intended to maintain its performance level setting under MRI exposure when scanned in accordance with the MR conditions in the labeling.
Surgitronic is conducting a voluntary recall of the StrataMR valve due to an issue that can occur post-implantation that can lead to the potential for under-drainage of cerebrospinal fluid. This recall only applies to StrataMR adjustable valves and shunts and does not apply to Strata™ II or Strata™ NSC products.

Strata II Adjustable Pressure Valve With Siphon Control

Innovative CSF shunt technology, including a patented adjustable valve mechanism with overdrainage protection. The valve may be adjusted using simple hand tools, without the need for x-ray confirmation.
Used for the treatment of hydrocephalus in children and adults, the PS Medical® Strata® Adjustable Pressure Valve diverts excess cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from the cerebral ventricles to another part of the body where it can be absorbed. Its main feature is the ability for the caregiver to change the pressure/flow performance level settings of the valve without the need for a revision surgery.

Strata NSC Adjustable Pressure Valve With No Siphon Control

The PS Medical® Strata® NSC™ Adjustable Pressure Valve is designed to provide continued cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow from the ventricles of the brain into the right atrium of the heart or the peritoneal cavity. The Strata NSC Valve allows the physician to non-invasively adjust its pressure/flow performance level setting by using a special magnetic adjustment tool without the need for X-ray confirmation to address changing patient needs.

Strata NSC LP Adjustable Pressure Lumboperitoneal Shunts

An adjustable CSF shunt system for the treatment of communicating hydrocephalus and for idiopathic intracranial hypertension (pseudotumor cerebri). Properly sized and accessorized, the system offers valve adjustability in a lumboperitoneal configuration.

Ares Antibiotic Impregnated Catheters

Ares™ Antibiotic-Impregnated Catheters help reduce colonization of gram positive bacteria on the tubing surface and can be part of any Medtronic shunt system.
For added convenience, Ares Antibiotic-Impregnated Catheters have the same diameters as our standard catheters. This enables seamless connection to all Strata®, Delta®, and PS Medical® shunt valves, so you don’t have to mix different shunt brands to get the best of both worlds.
